I read Mr. Sartin's 10-30-08 article "NRA's ad exaggerates intent of Obama vote". I'm not sure how stupid he thinks New Deal readership is but to a person, I'm sure they know that when Obama voted against a bill that repeals a village gun ban, he WAS voting to deny a citizen's right to self-protection. Anti-gun folks ALWAYS defend criminality and ALWAYS attack law-abiding citizens using firearms in lawful self-defense. Why is that? It is not ok to break into someone's house to steal their property. "Is property worth someone's life?" you ask. Well think of property this way. Someone had to spend their time and life energy at a job to earn the money to buy that property. Maybe it was at a job they can't stand. Maybe they risked their life and limb at work. Maybe they actually were injured. They spent the money they earned on property that comforts them, makes them happy and makes them secure. Maybe the property makes them a better citizen or is property or money to be donated to aids victims or whatever. The thief steals not only material but steals time, life, happiness, comfort and charity. If a thief looked at property in those terms, he or she would realize that he steals life at the risk of his own. You and the law should look at thievery the same way. Obama is against gun owner's rights. He is against the protection of life. President-elect Obama is eagerly awaiting inauguration so that he can get his anti-gun agenda moving. By the way, Obama has an anti 1st. Amendment agenda in the works consisting of the resurrection of the "Fairness Doctrine" Do you think you're immune? Think again. Watch Obama carefully and resist. The rights you save may be your own By the way, the Democrats want to steal your 401k. Don't believe me?
